Conservative Leader David Cameron took time out of his schedule to congratulate Stephen Mosley and Chester Conservatives by naming the constituency the number one in Britain.

Chester won first prize in the Conservatives National Excellence Awards. David Cameron presented the team with the award just moments before he gave this weekends key conference speech in Brighton.

The award was in recognition for the amount of campaigning done by Stephen and his team as well as the money raised and the support given to neighbouring marginal seats such as Ellesmere Port and Neston and Weaver Vale.

Stephen Mosley said, "The team in Chester deserve the award and I am delighted that David has recognised their efforts. Britain and Chester deserve change and with this team behind us we are ready and eager for a General Election.
