Councillor Jill Houlbrook

Jill is proud to serve the people of Upton as their local Councillor.

During her years of working for all of the community, Jill has helped local residents on a range of concerns - from planning, litter and roads to fixing pavements, tree and hedges, to name but a few. She has always taken the time to listen to local residents and help whenever she can - and be honest when this isn't possible.

Jill's top priority is to make Upton an even better place to live. She is working to preserve and enhance green spaces in Upton and has spent time with residents to ensure the War Memorial garden, Lodge Gardens and the Cockpit are all kept looking tidy.

Jill is proud to have a good working relationship with the service personnel and families stationed at Dale Camp. The 1st Battlion Duke of Lancaster’s Regiment (1st Lancashires) is now resident at the Dale Camp and Jill continues to keep in regular touch, to support the soldiers and welcome them all into our Upton community.

In addition to serving as your ward Councillor on Cheshire West & Chester Council, Jill is also a member of Upton Parish Council.
