Councillor Jill Houlbrook said:
"Residents are rightly concerned that the crossing on Wealstone Lane is not yet completed. The lights are not yet installed. I have been continually chasing this because it seems such a waste of money and it cannot be used until it is complete.
"I have been told that the electrical work will take place over half term (week beginning 18th February). There is no doubt residents have put up with this long enough. There have been errors along the way including marking out the crossing in the wrong place. We can only hope CWaC gets it right this time!"
