Councillor Razia Daniels

It is a huge honour and privilege to represent the most exciting ward of Cheshire West and Chester Council, Handbridge Park, which consists of Curzon Park, Westminster Park and Handbridge.

As ward Councillor I work very closely with my colleague Cllr Neil Sullivan and PCSO Chris Fox. We hold joint monthly street surgeries and deal with issues relating to crime, anti social behaviour, highways, green spaces, parking and planning.

We also work very closely with Residents Associations, Friends of Meadows, Friends of Westminster Park, and Friends of Edgar's Field Park.  Recently we helped form a new group called Friends of Dukes Drive which is now becoming established.

We challenged the plans to release the Wrexham Road Site from the greenbelt in the Local Plan and now the Local Plan is approved we will continue to challenge and work with developers to ensure that residents concerns are addressed.

We will always continue to highlight residents concerns so please do get in touch if you have an issue, or a suggestion.

Handbridge Christmas Event A Great Success

The Handbridge community came together last Thursday for the popular annual Christmas event, with local businesses, schools and West Cheshire College joining forces to make the evening a great success.

Update from Handbridge Park Conservatives

Councillors Razia Daniels and Neil Sullivan are delighted that the bus contract has been renewed with minor changes to the service. The new contracts are almost subsidy free because of the good level of usage.
