Councillor Jill Houlbrook and Steven Hesketh welcome some good news regarding ‘The Dale Camp’.
Jill says 'I’m pleased to pass on the information from the Defence Infrastructure Organisation that the barracks at Dale Camp will not be sold before 2029.'
This is very good news for Upton and for Chester and I look forward to welcoming more of our Armed Services as part of our community. '
Steven Hesketh commented ' after years of wondering and changes of closure dates this announcement brings some certainty to our community and to the members of The Army who will be posted to Chester.
