International Women's Day 2017

Ahead of International Women’s Day, Chester Conservatives are reaching out to ask talented individuals to come forward and stand for public office.

“We are currently taking applications for the role of local Council Candidate. It’s an important role in its own right but it's also the first rung on a ladder that can take you all the way to the steps of Number 10” said Chester Chairman Edward Jonas.

“Conservatives are proud to have had not just Britain’s first, but also our second woman Prime Minister. But being involved in politics isn’t just for people who want to be Prime Minister – it’s also for those who love their communities and want to make a positive difference in the lives people across our city.

“If you are passionate about improving your community and want to get things done, we have a brilliant and dedicated team of Councillors who will show you the ropes and help you to succeed. To find out more, please get in touch via our website.
